From the table to the screen

Point. Roll. Cast.

You took the game online. Your dice collection stayed on the shelf. DiceVision reads real rolls into your VTT and Discord — when the dice betray you, the whole table watches them go to dice jail.

Three steps, real dice

The dice are yours and the rolls are real. The owlbear just reads them and passes the result along.

Step one

Point

Aim a camera at the spot where your dice will land. A phone propped over the table works best. No mat, no dock, no special tray.

Step two

Roll

Throw them like you mean it. Computer vision watches the table go still, then reads every die where it lands.

Step three

Cast

The total lands on screen and pipes straight to your VTT or Discord. Natural 1? We saw it. Everyone saw it.

The eyes of the owlbear

A scrying eye for your dice

A dark little dashboard built to stay out of the way — works on mobile and desktop, and doesn't flinch when you throw a fistful of dice at it.

It runs in the browser. No install, no driver, no dice tray to ship.

Real roll
II.

Straight into your game

Your rolls don't stop at the table. They go wherever your party goes.

Discord

Each roll posts straight to your channel: the total, the dice that made it, who's to blame — and a snapshot of the throw for the doubters.

Talespire

Your physical rolls land in Talespire's dice tray, each one flagged as a symbiote roll — so the whole table knows you rolled actual dice while everyone else clicked a button.

Codex

Playing Draw Steel in MCDM's Codex? Your real dice stand in for the virtual ones — Codex waits for your throw, then handles the edges, banes, and tier shifts for you.

The legend behind the name

Vilheilm & the Owlbear

— everyone else trained an AI. we washed an owlbear. —

The vile sorcerer Vilheilm the accursed wished to divine the secrets of his misfortune. He crafted the finest of crystal spheres through which to scry the secrets of the ancient gygaxian bones.

He was missing but one ingredient: the tears of the keenest eyes of the foulest of beasts. The tears of an owlbear.

But how does one make an owlbear cry? By washing it. And so the dirty owlbear was scrubbed clean, and with those tears the crystal sphere saw the truest reading of the dice at last.
